The room was decent. The vents were unfortunately shut and we weren’t made aware of that so we slept in a hot room the first night and the shower temperature gauge was reversed so that was a little weird but once we realized that was an easy adjustment but the real reason for the low score is that the staff seemed to care more about selling their rewards scam then they did taking care of their guests. We were basically tricked into signing up for a meeting and decided we would rather enjoy that time doing what we came there for(a vacation) so we skipped it and ended up with a $50 fee. We asked for the meeting to be cancelled at the beginning but were told “the new system” wouldn’t allow that. $50 is a small place to pay to know we won’t be going back to a Holiday Inn Resort anytime soon. The manager was supposed to contact me but never did. Queue an automated response.
