I do want to say the staff was super sweet and wonderful during my stay. However, I specifically picked this hotel because of the pool. My event was in a different hotel for the weekend on Kent Island. I specifically left my friends to go back-and-forth to the Best Western so I could swim every day. The pool was disgusting. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s nothing like the pictures. I don’t know the last time they used any pool chemicals in it. I’m really not that picky but this was totally disgusting. The water was completely cloudy and had a little flexs of things floating in it. I got an ear infection from it. I told the sweet person at the front desk who told the manager who supposedly looked at the pool and did something to fix it. It was still horrible the next day. I spoke with another hotel customer who is a regular there. He said that this was completely normal for this hotel regarding the pool and he loved to swim too. He said he would never get in that pool. He has complained ro the manager himself as well nothing changes. He said “that guy doesn’t give a crap.”
