If you are used to the amenities the big hotels chains offer, this is not your place to stay, but if you don't mind much about it, then is a great option. The location can't be better, right at the Arch of Santa Catalina, it gets crowded outside so be prepared to deal with lots of people taking pictures and hanging around, despite this, rooms are pretty quite. The restaurant is excellent, a must try would be the Corn pie, simply exquisite. The staff is also wonderful, very helpful, polite and kind. This is an old convent converted into a hotel and as far as I know they try to keep it as original as it could be so most things are old including the furniture, the light fixtures, the bathroom drainage and faucets which can be challenging to get the water to your desired temperature, it could be either extremely hot or freezing cold. It's a pet friendly hotel and yes, the restaurant tables are located just outside your room door. I'd recommend to choose the rooms located in the back patio since they're a little more updated and comfortable. Most tours can pick you up right at the hotel which is very convenient. Overall a good experience.
