The pictures and description of the property do not match the reality. There were stains on the sheets including small blood stains, the pillows were so old and dirty I would have thrown them out, holes in the wall, the thing the TV was on was falling apart, the sink and bath tub had been spackled or painted over multiple times to hide damage, the toilet paper roll was sitting in a hole in the wall instead of on a holder, the pool was empty... when we decided not to stay, i tried to quietly leave and just let them know i wasn't comfortable so we weren't staying. I wasn't asking for a refund of that day or anything. The owner (?) Came from the back office and said that I get what I pay for, he stopped short of calling me a liar (I took pictures), and spent 10 minutes trying to tell me that our room was ones of the best ones, that he wanted me to go back to the room to show him what I was referring to, and that I wouldn't be able to find anywhere else in town to stay (it was bootcamp graduation).
We got home and not only were we charged for that day/ night, but we were charged over $400 (two rooms for 3 nights).
This placed is gross, the staff can't accept criticism even though they know how bad their rooms are, and they tried to steal from me.
