What a wonderful place!! Margaret and her staff all made me feel so welcome and appreciated... The space is lovely, lots of steps, so pack accordingly, but the bed was so cozy and comfy, the living area lovely, the kitchen had all I needed, and the back patio was fabulous! I saw two foxes drinking from the pond, one of the best stays I had on a 2 week roadtrip. I wish I had more time to explore the gardens, just gorgeous. Thank you, Margaret, I hope to get back to Ontario in the near future!

The Burley's Garden and Suite was very beautiful. The suite was cozy and warm. The hostess, Margaret welcomed us with a smile and a big hello. She showed us around the suite and was very inviting. This location is in a quiet area and away from excessive noises. Margaret, gave us a great suggestion for dinner and breakfast to a restaurant that is literally a two min walk from the driveway. We will definitely be staying there again for sure.

Called to ask about checkin process. Checkin was quick. Margaret is a great hostess and left croissants for us and water in the fridge. Location is close to most attractions in Peterborough. Place is on a busy road so can be noisy if you are sleeping in the front bedroom but I had a good night sleep in the bedroom facing the back. Beds were firm which I like but living room furniture was softer.

Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit.

The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the back gardens is a big plus. Margaret is very accessible and helpful. Her garden shop is a lovely place to browse. This is our third stay and we will most likely return if visiting in the area.

The suite was clean, the sheets/bedding very comfortable, some croissants and coffee left for me to have. Very eco-friendly environment with a lovely view of the gardens. This was an incredible stay. I travel a lot for work and this was easily one of the best, if not the best, stay I've ever had.

What a charming and unique accommodation! We were greeted by our delightful hostess Margaret, who gave us a tour of our suite and made sure we had everything we needed. She left us croissants with butter and homemade jam for our breakfast the next morning, as well as cream for the Keurig coffee. The gardens on this property are amazing! They are a must-see if you are passing through the area. There is a garden center attached to the home selling plants, gifts, and treasures of all kinds. We had a balcony off of our kitchen that looked out over the gardens in back. Such a beautiful view to enjoy with morning coffee! The unit was comfortable and clean with many personal touches. We really felt at home here.

The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. A must is to walk around the acre or so garden. Margaret is a lovely, friendly host. She recommended a decent restaurant just a couple of hundred metres away. I sampled the Indian cuizine and found it delicious.
