Hotels.com is representing a hotel that is falsifying the quality of their hotel. Their hotel had so much mold inside the room(s) that we couldn’t even stay there. We were forced to stay there one night which I ended up sleeping the night in my car because the amount of mold penetrated the air in the room. We tried to open the windows to get cross breeze so we could breathe fresh air, but some of the windows were missing screens. The toilet in the bathroom ran all night long so eventually, we had to shut the water off to the toilet. The light over the kitchenette turned off and on on its own through throughout the night. The room stated and showed pictures of a working fireplace put upon arrival it did not work. We were told that it might work the following week. The mold in the room was by far the worst part we couldn’t even breathe because it took your breath away the next morning when we went down to the office to let them know we were not able to stay another night because I have multiple sclerosis and a brain tumor and had just come from Cedar Sinai Hospital the following day. The man in the office told us we could not have a refund. So I asked to speak with the manager but he said he wasn’t there and he was out of town. Yet when hotels.com called after we had left the man we had spoken to was indeed the manager, and had lied to us. He still refused to refund us for the night hotels.com refused to refund us for that night as well even though I provided photos.
