The Elk Refuge Inn exceeded our expectations! The rooms were “cute” and functional. We liked the layout and all the amenities, including the refrigerator/freezer, microwave, a good supply of beverage choices, dish soap, scrubbers, and dish towels. They knew what we needed to make our stay comfortable more than we knew! Every time I contacted them by phone or by text, they were extremely helpful and courteous. I felt valued as a guest before I ever arrived. We loved being on the second floor and having a great view of the Elk across the road. We loved hearing the bugling and the cows communicating with their young. We are so happy we were encouraged to bring our own binoculars. It was a great suggestion by the staff. We can’t think of one thing that would’ve made our stay any better. It was fantastic!
