Dear Holiday Inn Express Hot Springs Management Team,
I am writing regarding our stay at your property from December 26 to December 27, during which we used the hotel swimming pool.
Shortly after swimming, my daughter developed a strong allergic reaction, which we believe was caused by an excessive level of chemicals in the pool. The reaction was significant enough that it required ongoing care and took nearly a full week to resolve.
This experience was unexpected and concerning, particularly given the importance of proper pool chemical balance for guest safety—especially for children. While we understand that maintenance issues can occasionally occur, the impact on my daughter’s health unfortunately affected our stay and overall experience at your hotel.
Given the circumstances, I am respectfully requesting a refund for the night of December 26–27 as compensation for the inconvenience and distress caused.
We chose your hotel based on the reputation of the Holiday Inn Express brand, and I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and professionally. Please let me know if you need any additional information from me to process this request.
