The check-in was slow (Busy time) but pleasant staff. The room was clean, compact and cozy. However, the pull-out futon had a dirty and very worn-out mattress, laying down on it, I felt every single metal bar underneath me. I requested sheets and extra pillows (not in the room) and they were delivered 40 minutes after.
The first nice, there was a glitch with the fire alarm and the guests had to evacuate at 2:30 am, walking down 11 flight of stairs out into -20 withe kids. The issue was resolved by fire department and we were back in the room within 1.5 hrs. There was NO compensation offered for this inconvenience, just an apology. The breakfast buffet was standard but good and clean. Upon check-out, instead of releasing the deposit, I was double charged, they quoted a "System Glitch" but they accepted their mistake and refunded the full amount. Generally the hotel is okay, food was good, but they are very frugal in compensating for any inconvenience.
