Nice building , very clean , great location and would recommend
ideal location for visiting Prague .The staff at the hotel are very friendly and make you feel welcomed .
Great location and within walking distance of everything. Breakfast should have been included in the rate - this would have been extra nice.
The hotel’s location was great. Unfortunately, the room was very dated. We lost power in the room the entire first night and then off and on all through the second day. I asked about it and was told that they have had previous electrical issues so they are now working on them and they would not know when the work would be completed. I asked why we had not been notified at check-in that the power would be out but I could not get a straight answer. The hair dryer did not work and the internet was incredibly slow when we had power and could access it. The hotel needs updates and it is unfortunate that there are no disclaimers at the time of booking about the work that is currently underway.
The Reception staff were helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and spacious We enjoyed our stay very much.
Brilliant location, rooms cleaned every day. Staff very helpful over all great stay
Property is old, no phone line in the room. The staff doesn’t really speak English and barely understand English. Dianne messed up our taxi going back to airport, she asked me how am I going to pay? I told her ‘card’ but when we get to the airport the taxi driver said he wasn’t told that we will pay card, cash only. So we look for an ATM to get a cash. On top of that! Very noisy in the hallway. People are screaming in the middle of the night.
Very unique quirky hotel in a great central location. I can only comment on my room as they are all very different. We were on the fifth floor in a double room. The room was fairly basic but clean and tidy. We were not far from the roof terrace which had amazing views of this stunning city. All staff that we came across were pleasant and polite
Our room wasn’t in the hotel but a few doors up the road. No hotel atmosphere. Up 80 spiral concrete stairs no lift. Cafe not open when meant to be. Again very steep stairs to access after the lift
Once the booking is made, and the fees paid, there is no cancellation available. Moreover, the hotel could not be contacted for about 72 hours. Nobody answered a call or email! Beware about this problem! A lot of noise from the adjacent rooms. The hotel is better suited for young groups of students, discovering the cities of Europe. In our case, room 42, we had a group of youngsters in the next room, that came back from the city around 03:00 am, and they either played cards or had some other type of fun until 05:00 am. We couldn't sleep at all during that time. A strange noise came up randomly, from the hallway. We suspect that was linked to the toilet in the bathroom, because most of the times was coming up when flushing the toilet. Not always, though, only sometimes. No parking! We had to walk about 1 Km to a nearby parking, with all our luggage. We wanted to only stop the car close to the hotel, and unload / load our luggage, but we saw a police car that fined a tourist bus driver for doing this and we changed our minds.
