Super friendly and helpful man at reception think his name was marindar but I could be wrong he was there for most of my 2 night stay any issue or question I had was sorted within 5 minutes will be booking again for future work trips due to the excellent service!

This place is amazing, the room we stayed, was so big and we had 4 poster bed, always wanted one of them, the whole experience was wonderful, staff was very helpful, would stay again.

I loved it. Visited August meeting a friend and stayed over. Staff great, my room was lovely and the bed/pillows amazing. We had dinner and breakfast too which were really nice. The hotel and grounds are so lovely. We’re planning a return trip. Thank you.

The staff were beyond helpful, however there some basic issues. The room was poorly cleaned and the breakfast was a disaster. The food was stone cold, short in supply and asked for a refund which they accommodated. Beautiful place, just need to get the basics right.

The staff advised that the hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment. The grounds were lovely. The room was spacious and comfy. Will be really nice when fully refurbished.

The hotel was lovely to stay in. However, be aware they take a £30.00 deposit from your card on check in without telling you. Only found out through a notification on my watch from my bank stating the money had been taken - not by reception. I have been chasing my money back since I have checked out and 4 days later the money has still not gone back into my account. I am constantly ringing the hotel to get this sorted to no avail. BE AWARE OF THIS CHARGE THEY DO NOT TELL YOU ABOUT

Absolutely stunning hotel (a former school), set in acres of countryside Rooms are good sized, well equipped, and the en-suites are great. Staff are very helpful and polite One point - cooked breakfasts on my 2x mornings did take a while (40-45 minutes) - so just leave yourself enough time, just in case Overall, I'll definitely go back

The hotel has been taken over by new management 5 weeks ago and they have building maintenance to do, which is on going, however, very discreet as it didn’t disturb our stay. The staff were lovely and the food was very good. I look forward to returning for another stay.

The grounds and the hotel were absolutely stunning! We were delighted with our bedroom suite. The hotel can boast an interesting history; on the wall in the restaurant is a wooden plaque, with a gilded list of previous head girls from 1937 when the hotel was run as a school. The beautiful stained glass windows on the staircase are evidence of the previous importance of the building. The hotel is well placed for activities in Warwick, and visits to Stratford on Avon, & Royal Leamington Spa. We will definitely visit again.

Lovely building, nice room and fantastic outdoor space, my dog loved the grounds! A few small touches would make it excellent: no where to hang a hand towel near the hand basin in the bathroom, no glasses for water, bedhead seemed too big. All very minor, apart from that lovely stay.

The rooms were newly renovated and large. If you do a general search on the abbey, information states gym and pool but those are not available. The restaurant menu was small. The food was great. Our server was excellent. Beautiful old estate. Great communal sitting room. I would stay again.

The hotel manager gave amazing customer service after an awful dinner experience Waited nearly 2 hours for our main course , a waitress said she was a manager ( she clearly wasn’t) was very rude and unhelpful. Spoilt my birthday meal …. Didn’t bother to get dessert. The hotel was aware it was my birthday night away as they had emailed prior to arrival however for what purpose I’m not sure. The manager the next morning was very apologetic and purely because of his professional manner I would return to stay again as the hotel itself is amazing The grounds are stunning! It will be beautiful when it’s finished it’s full refurb :)

The room was big and the bed comfy, with the staff friendly, however having just reopened it is in need of some work. One wall mounted socket (head height) for a TV coffee machine and a kettle, with the kettle cord not reaching the plug was not good. The amenities were lacking in the shower, and there was rust on the frame holding the wash hand basin in the bathroom. All of which was disappointing. Also £20 for breakfast was a bit steep!

Booked here mainly for the air conditioning ..30+ degrees at the moment. Upon check in we were informed that the air con was broken in our room. They had put a fan in the room so went to see. It was like an oven so politely declined. We were offered an upgrade, but was asked if we were willing to pay the difference ourselves. I once again politey declined as it wasn't my fault the system had failed. We were put into the upgraded room with working air con....lovely however, the dirt on the windows was shocking. Lovely big windows but absolutely covered in cobwebs and dead flies, obv not been cleaned in a long time. We were just grateful for air con. The hotel itself is lovely and full of history.

Stayed in a recently renovated room (still had masking tape on the back of the bathroom door :-)) and was very nice until I took a shower in the morning and nearly flooded the place. The waste plug had become blocked and was spilling water over the edge of the shower tray. Spent 10 minutes blotting and ringing towels out Informed the lady on reception who seemed more interested in making sure my bar cheque from the night before was charged to my card so left without any appreciation for the hassle or any contrition
