Pros:
Dining reservations were a breeze thanks to the resort app. Everything was very user-friendly, and we had no trouble booking where we wanted to eat.
The food was pretty solid for an all-inclusiveāplenty of variety and available 24/7. We especially loved the Jerk Hut during the day!
Drinks were nothing overly fancy but definitely more enjoyable than at other resorts weāve visited.
The beach, while small, was beautifulāsoft sand, no rocks, and easy to enjoy.
The on-site Dolphin Cove experience was a highlight! Conveniently located on the premises, fairly priced, and staffed by knowledgeable, caring individuals.
Cons:
Unfortunately, not all the staff matched the warm hospitality weāve come to love in Jamaica. While many team members were fantastic, we did encounter several who seemed unhappy or indifferent, which left a noticeable impression.
The spa experience was just okay. While the actual service was great, the overall experience was lackingālimited access, no clear guidance on amenities, and not quite worth the high price tag.
A big frustration was the resort credits. We left with over $300 unused because they simply couldnāt be applied to much. It felt like a missed opportunity and a bit misleading.
Despite the few setbacks, we had a memorable vacation and would recommend Moon Palace Jamaica, especially for families looking for convenience and a mix of relaxation and fun. A few tweaks in hospitality and transparency would make it a true five-star experience.
