This is an older motel, but provides the needs of a traveller. Two story, with external stairs and outside access to all rooms. Fits right in with retro route 66 fans. Very convenient to I40 there's a gas station just across the street. Very roomy with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom area and convenient ice and vending machines. Bath area has had many upgrades. Washer, $2 and dryer $2 available. Has a pool, but could use some maintenance in that area. Excellent breakfast, with steam table choice of sausage link or patty, warm scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, good choice of cold cereals, some fruit, choice of regular or decaf coffee, along with a variety of other drinks, waffles, yogurt, hot cereals, etc., etc., and all the condiments. Has a tricky lock and door handle. Took me 5 trys to get it to open.
