This place was SOOOO bad, where do I start...
Check-in: We paid for five nights upon arrival. They told us that we had no choice but to give them our driver's licenses so they could "xerox a copy for their records". If we refused, we couldn't stay. I requested to make a formal complaint with management. We didn't mind SHOWING I.D. but, I didn't feel comfortable with them copying and keeping our personal info. indefinitely. This place isn't part of a nationally recognized, major motel chain!
Room condition: It was EXCEPTIONALLY dismal, dingy, and outdated. The elevator leading up to it was 'sketchy' at best. The walkways were sagging.
Amenities: For some strange reason the power dropped off completely on the third day of our stay. The power was restored but, the internet box was completely useless after that. The bed was SO UNCOMFORTABLE that my wife literally slept sitting upright in a chair ALONGSIDE the bed with her head resting on a pillow laying on the edge of the bed. Her back and hips were hurting her SO bad by the third night. I was probably more pissed off about that specific aspect of this nightmare than any other. The parking was 'limited' and very cramped. It was back-to-back with the local fire station parking lot.
Finally, this motel isn't staffed AT ALL during key check-out times during earlier morning hours. That's just BEYOND ridiculous! There's much more but, suffice to say that we will never stay in this motel again and can't recommend it. :(
