Hotel was mediocre, staff was nice. Had to switch rooms because hot water didn’t work in our first room and the thermostat didn’t work either so we were freezing cold the first night. The lady at the front desk was nice and switched us into a new room and the water was arguably more cold in this room. Maintenance came up and all of a sudden the water was warm. Maintenance guy tried to gas light me by saying “the water is backwards and cold means hot” and even when I told him, “yes I’m aware because I had it on that exact setting to warm up for nearly 10 minutes before giving up and just taking a cold shower.” Took another shower that night and guess what? Another cold shower… at least the heat in this room worked so we could use the heat to warm us up after a cold shower! At that point it wasn’t worth complaining again since we checked out the next morning. As a previous reviewer had stated, i honestly would not recommend staying here unless you want to take cold or lukewarm showers. I appreciate the woman at the front desk who tried to help make things right but it just wasn’t enough unfortunately. As an IHG member, this definitely was a turnoff from staying at Holiday Inn locations in the future.
