It took me over 2 hours to check in due to Hotels.com using a credit card that was declined. Further, the Hotels.com customer service was far from helpful and kept saying that the room had been paid for while the hotel receptionist kept saying that it wasn’t and was denying my reservation. After 2 hours the hotel gave me a room key (sans payment). I asked your customer service rep for a credit to my credit card and was sent a coupon instead. I can’t use a coupon and don’t believe your services to be reliable. I want the coupon voided and a credit in the amount of the coupon ussued to my credit card. I had booked my reservation over a month in advance and drove 7 hours, crossing an international border to spend Thanksgiving with my family and you wasted my holiday time. This has been the WORST traveling experience if my life. I look forward to seeing the credit issued asap.
