This is a hotel on the verge of a much needed tip to bottom renovation. The staff is friendly. The Burger Theory restaurant that anchors the main floor is just that, a theory. Closed a couple of months ago and apparently not coming back. Rooms are clean and serviceable but like the rest of the hotel appear as if they are stuck in that purgatory of “well, since we’re going to spend a lot of money to renovate this place at some point in the future, let’s not do anything now” purgatory. Wall mounted Soap dispensers are a good four feet away from bathroom sink on opposite side of toilet which is both dumb design and inconvenient. Water from sink in bathroom has a foul odor which makes one second guess one’s life choices. The bed is comfy so a good night sleep can be had. The lobby is kind of grim in a bus stop sort of way, but the lobby bathrooms are actually surprisingly clean and welcoming. In our three day stay our room keys did not work at least once per day, which is challenging when you need them for rooms, front door of hotel and parking garage. We exchanged our card keys three times. I’m sure in a few months or years this place will be refit and be great. For now, you get what you pay for.
