This was the worst motel I have ever encountered. We booked this place with three other couples, thinking it would be decent since it’s close to downtown Prescott. While it is within walking distance, that was the only positive.
From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. Every couple had issues getting into their rooms — the doors literally would not open. The front desk employee couldn’t even access some of the rooms with his universal key. Because of this, 2 out of 4 couples had to be moved to different rooms, which was frustrating and time-consuming.
The rooms were absolutely disgusting. The smell was unbearable — like extreme body odor mixed with cat urine. It felt neglected, unclean, and completely unsanitary.
I also did not feel safe at all. The front desk attendant gave off extremely uncomfortable, unsafe vibes, to the point that I was genuinely concerned about privacy while staying there. Overall, the environment was unsettling and not somewhere anyone should feel comfortable staying.
Do not stay here unless you truly do not care about cleanliness, safety, or your surroundings. Walking distance to downtown is not worth this experience.
