Check-in was smooth and efficient. I appreciated the professionalism of the assistant manager. When we encountered an issue with our first room—dirty with food in the refrigerator and on the floor—the assistant manager promptly addressed our concern.
Later that evening, we returned to the hotel and encountered some challenges. While we were informed all hotel services close at 11 pm, we attempted to order at 9:58 pm and were told the kitchen closed at 10 pm, leaving us to purchase meals from the front counter for our children.
Upon reentering the room, we noticed it felt stuffy. We confirmed with the assistant manager how to operate the a/c. Despite this, the A/C was not functioning effectively and we found it uncomfortable throughout the night.
The next morning, we visited the pool at opening time. We requested towels, but only five were provided. When we texted again, we were told that the remaining towels were not as clean as the staff would have liked so no additional towels were provided.
At check-out, we shared our frustrations.
While the assistant manager was responsive, the overall condition of the hotel is in serious need of renovation. The pool remains a major attraction, but the rooms left much to be desired.
We have left feedback with the corporate office to hopefully provide assistance with a facelift to this facility.
