We are Expedia Gold Members and have stayed at this property multiple times, but this visit was extremely disappointing. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and had informed the hotel in advance about this special occasion. Despite receiving several welcome emails, there was absolutely no acknowledgment of the celebration in our room. At check-in, we were entitled to a complimentary upgrade if available.
The supervisor, Nicole, and front desk staff, Susanna, refused to honor this benefit, even though a honeymoon room was available at the time. Their response was cold and dismissive, simply telling us we would have to pay if we wanted the upgrade. There was no effort to accommodate us, no attempt to make us feel valued, and no gesture of hospitality — even though this was our fifth stay at this property. The lack of professionalism and indifference shown by the staff ruined what was supposed to be a
memorable celebration. Sadly, we left feeling unwelcome and
unappreciated. For loyal guests and Expedia Gold Members, this treatment is unacceptable. We are looking forward to staying at your hotel again. For our upcoming visit, we would prefer to be assisted at check-in by different staff members than last time, as we want to ensure the warm and professional experience we know your hotel is known for. While check-in could have been smoother, we were impressed by so many other aspects of the hotel. The restaurant and service staff were exceptional—warm, professional.
