I needed to add a night to our stay, Oct 27th, so we tried calling the property.  The young lady that answered was rude and said she can't do anything, we need to do it online.  She said they do not have King Suites available, so they will have to checkout in the morning, and check back in on the 28th at 3pm.  I got online, but there were no King Suites available, which I knew.  I called the property to see if we could change the following nights to queen rooms, so we did not have to check out and back in.  I called, the line was picked up and hung up.  I called back, she answered to please hold, and left me on the line for 10 minutes until I hung up.  I called back and the line stayed busy.  I called my employees and suggested they ask about the queen rooms, so they do not have to check out.  She rolled her eyes and said that won't happen.  She said she needed to take the $50 incidental on each room and will have to do it again tomorrow when they check back in.  The card did not process for the 2nd room, so my employee called, I asked if she could take a card over the phone, my employee said she rolled her eyes again and was swearing under her breath.  This was all happening a close to 10pm after a 4 hour drive.  Needless to say, we cancelled our following 2 nights and booked at a hotel with more professional staff.  We will not be staying at any Wingates in the future.
