Parking Lot of Doom
I chose this hotel specifically to avoid the stress of snow removal and to be closer to my job. Instead, the parking situation created significant anxiety and frustration. I paid $607 for my stay, plus $15 per day for four days to park outside—yet the snow removal was poorly executed.
Guest vehicles were blocked in by large snowbanks that were never removed. Upon returning to the hotel, the only way to park was to drive over the snowbanks (if your vehicle was even capable), greatly increasing the risk of getting stuck or damaging your car. This was extremely stressful and unacceptable.
As a woman traveling alone, the situation felt unsafe and entirely avoidable. Paying extra for parking should come with a reasonable expectation of accessibility and safety—especially during winter conditions. This experience fell far below that standards!
