Check-in was given a king room instead of the king suite that was booked. Front desk clerk on duty did not seem happy to fix the error and was in general not happy answering the phone etc while she was fixing it. There is no reason to give attitude to the guest for assigning the proper room that was booked. There is also no reason to ask why a suite was needed. We book a suite and pay whatever price is assigned to it for the added space and comfort when it’s available which it clearly was when the room was booked. Having to travel for a family medical emergency for someone in the hospital is already stressful enough without having added stress at the hotel for an error that was not something we did.
