Do NOT be fooled by the 3.9 stars or old photos. The truth is this a two-star hotel with the lobby of a four-star.
First, the lobby Bar/Restuarant “Rootz” I’m not sure it was ever open even during the advertised hours on site. It was closed every time I went by. It looked fancy from the outside. Secondly, they have no pool bar as advertised, they had a convenience store to buy drinks from on the first floor (pool is on the second floor), though they didn’t offer bags or ice, though they did give the tip of a box for transport. The beer was room temp despite being in a fridge. They recommended I get ice from ice machines (would’ve been ok) except half of them didn’t work, so I had to go hunt one that did work. To top it off, the pool closed at 6pm an hour before sunset (three hours before the advertised time) and didn’t offer pool towels or restrooms. Inside, the hallways were dark and not well lit, the dark paint didn’t help their case in lighting to be far though. I will say though that the bed was comfortable, but the blackout curtains did let some sun in.
