This is a truly awful hotel and the photos and listing are unacceptably inaccurate. The bedsheets at least appeared to be clean but the rest of the room was disgustingly dirty and looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in years - thick dirt on the wooden panelling, layers of grime and soap scum on the shower screen. The safe was not working. The kitchen tap sprayed water everywhere. The fridge made excessively loud ratting noises at intervals throughout the night. I didn’t dare close the bathroom door as the handle was loose and I was afraid of getting locked in. The pool itself was quite nice but the furniture in the photos has been replaced hard wicker loungers The ‘fitness centre’ is a meeting room, complete with table and chairs, and an old exercise bike pushed into a corner. On the first day I went down to find the restaurant and kitchen abandoned and was told to come back at 9:30. At 9:30 there was still no one there and I bought breakfast elsewhere. The listing states it is a 17 minute walk from Seminyak Square but in reality is more than 40 minutes. I was shocked that a property with an average score above 8 could be this poor but on examining the reviews it appears that that most of the positive ones are from 2019 or earlier. If you only take the last few years into account it’s closer to 5, which still feels generous. I left 2 nights into a 7 night booking and have reported the listing to hotels.com as misleading.
