I loved the new guy (wish I got his name) that helped us with the luggage. Very personable guy and every time I saw him he was working and smiling.
Overall, we had a great time.
Breakfast was good although wishing there was a bit of variety from morning to morning.
Even when breakfast servers were busy, they attended us with a smile.
I ate my entire breakfast without a greet, or a drink one morning bc there was not enough staff.
When going to try dinner on Friday night, was redirected to the bar area by the front desk and ensured there was a full menu… there was a very small menu. Which we were still willing to try until we overheard the bartender, Michael, “whispering” to his co-worker how we should leave his “real bar” and go to Applebees… After feeling uncomfortable and unwanted we decided to leave and go elsewhere for dinner.
It was a very unpleasant way to finish our stay. As a server and bartender, I do understand the feeling of having a family beside the bar, HOWEVER, it was completely unprofessional and he lost a very good tab and tip from the rudeness that he couldn’t keep from blaring out his mouth in front of paying customers.
Even so, I returned to try and get a drink after our dinner (elsewhere) and he was very short and forcefully suggested I get my margarita to-go.
I have never been more disappointed with service from someone. He even had a disgusted face when we returned to where I had to tell my family to wait in the lobby. Very disrespectful.
