The hotel is in a good location and not too busy. We left our luggage in the hotel when we arrived early before check in which was good. However, they checked us in then once we got into the room they called us on the room phone to tell us that our room we paid for (the suite) was not available so had downgraded us for 1 night and will refund the difference between the rooms which they did in cash. The next day, they messaged on hotels.com app asking when we would check in to our suite but i did not see this. Apparently we had to check in to the suite between 12-2pm which we weren’t told. When we got back to the hotel in the evening, the host said our room was given away as we did not respond or check in. I complained and then they said our room was available. Made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. Wouldn’t go back or recommend.
