I’ll make this short, space to write is limited. The hotel does not offer an extra cot when unexpectedly we had one tag along altho it was mentioned in the pre check-in data. My fault to bring sis last min. Staff was friendly. I requested for another room, staff said hotel is fully booked. Staff PRETENDED to call hotel across & next door, said all fully booked. I cannot think, so flustered. Hubby went to hotel next door, they have a room. I went to the hotel across, they have a room which I booked for sis. Reception there was very warm & TRULY helpful! Then we got to our room, the air con barely blow any air, let alone cool air! We paid hefty for an Eiffel Tower view & we got “some”. No help in regards to cool air! The reception guy is also maintenance & everything guy! We went out since every minute spend in this beautiful city is precious. We hoped that the room will be cooler when we come back, we left the aircon running. But NO, the room is hot as a sauna! The vent can BARELY blow a thin tissue paper! The new shift staff unable to help, gave us two small electric fans saying that’s all he can do & a refund. I did not sleep until 4am when the room finally got cooler! So there we missed time sightseeing coz of bad sleep! Same issue next day, HOT room! only felt cooler at 4am. NO SLEEP, MISSED TIME to explore the city!We would have enjoyed our stay in Paris if we had a comfortable hotel room. Consolation: day receptionist is lovely. About refund? No mention of it! None!
