Worst hotel experience of my life
This was the most horrible hotel experience of my life!
Upon checkin I was lectured by an extremely rude hotel manager for not having my booking reference. Despite her having my passport and a printed out booking slip with my details on it right at her counter. My name and details are the same and they have the booking slip and keys ready for me, yet she is lecturing me about why I don’t have the booking reference??
On the first morning of having my room cleaned an invoice was left in my room for “damaged glasses”. There were never any glasses in my room upon checkin. I know this because I had to walk to 7-11 to buy plastic cups in order to have a drink. When I inquired with the hotel manager about this, she called all the cleaning staff to the desk and proceeded to interrogate me over apparent broken glasses in the room. Despite this being a completely wrong and false claim. It was very upsetting. So much so, that I checked out the next day to find alternate accomodation. The hotel manager seemed to find this amusing when I explained why I was leaving early.
I was unable to gain approval from the hotel for any type of refund. So I have lost four nights accommodation and was charged extra for damaged items that never existed in the room.
