Highly recommend for a beautiful beach stay on a budget! The price I paid for my experience was unbelievable! 🌈
Great value for my ocean view room with huge balcony, pastry breakfast, included parking, and access to their private beach with lounge chairs and umbrella!
Viviana at the front desk was unbelievably accommodating to me and my service animal (who was very welcomed throughout the stay. 🐾) She really goes above and beyond for her guests—I used the Expedia message function and she was very responsive each time. Note: Limited English by other staff.
The room was very clean and AC was phenomenal. My only complaint is that the mattress was pretty hard and without en-suite coffe, naps on the beach were essential. ☺️
The location is really something! Just past the bustling, towering town of Taormina is charming Saint’Alessio Siculo. It suffered a great deal of damage during the hurricane a few months ago and the town is actively repairing sidewalks and replacing palm trees.
What this means right now is that most people are attracted to other places, so the beaches are idyllic with relatively few visitors. We had the beach completely to ourselves many times. The beach is a perfect mix of volcanic sand and small stones. The crystal clear water is incredible!
There were live concert performances within walking distance and plenty of restaurants and shops to meet my needs. The hidden gem is an unassuming restaurant called Trocadero—great food, great prices.
