When we arrived there were construction crews who were staying there drinking in the parking lot. This did not bother us too much but is worth mentioning as we were traveling with our child. The night shift women working the front desk was not unpleasant but very unprofessional, she was absolutly not going to get out of her chair to do anything. After we went up to our room it was evident that someone had just showered in the room. There was pink toothpaste on the counter in the bathroom, live roaches running around, and what looked like bug excrement on one of the beds.
We immediately left the room and went to check-out and inform the front desk. The women working the desk could not have cared less, nor did she seem surprised. The only positive thing I can say about the experience is that the following day a woman named Bresa who handled my call about a refund was very nice, apologetic and professional. I appreciated her helping very much.
