An absolute gem in Homer! The Moosetide Hotel delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and that quintessential Alaskan hospitality. The host is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel right at home from the second you arrive. The location is ideal for exploring the area, and the rooms are cozy and well-maintained. Can’t recommend this place enough—will definitely be back!

Angie and Cheyenne were amazing hosts. They provided us with so many different options in town for activities, food, and entertainment. This hotel was just renovated and the upgrades are excellent. So many nice details throughout the property literally making you feel like you’re at your own home. The room we had was spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Location is excellent. You can see the love they have put into this beautiful hotel. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Homer.

This hotel is an extremely comfortable and clean! The owners have done an amazing job restoring this historic hotel making it cozy with sweet touches of nostalgia and all the necessities. The owners are helpful and kind with suggestions for the best local eateries and sights. We can’t wait to go back!

The owners went above and beyond during our stay. We had to be moved in the middle of the night due to noise disturbances from another guest below our room and then upgraded us the next night to a suite. They were extremely helpful in local recommendations as well! Cute little hotel with lots to do nearby.

This hotel has the best location. Bar on one one side and a diner on the other side. And a short walk to the ocean. The owners are so friendly. The beds were very comfortable, and rooms are very clean.

The hotel room had a very comfy bed as we stayed for four nights. Coffee in the lobby in the mornings. Cheyenne and Angie, the owners of Moosetide, were so friendly and helpful in recommendations for eating places, etc. We will return on our next visit to Homer.

Must see hotel! The owners are wonderful. The decor is so aesthetically appealing. You just want to sit and enjoy the beauty. Newly renovated and so modern and chic! Such a gem! Wish I had more time to stay. Very convenient location. The owners share all the must do and must see things in Homer.

As a solo traveler, I found this hotel exceeded my expectations. For the price of a two-star hotel, the room was clean, the basic necessities worked well, and the interior fit Homer's vibe. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the hotel sits between restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you are only staying for a few days or a week and don't need many amenities, this is a good hotel.

The owners of the Moosetide Hotel are warm and welcoming and proud of their beautiful historic property, which they had spent months renovating and had just opened this spring. The lobby is gorgeous, the hotel is central to “local” Homer, and the rooms are spic and span and full of tasteful touches. Cheyenne even offered to loan me her rubber boots for exploring the tidal pools, which shows you how thoughtful they are.

The couple did a great job renovating this historical hotel. They are very friendly, even lending us their waterproof boots to go to the beach during low tide. If you visit Homer and not in a RV, we highly recommend staying here. Good price, great service and hospitality. I might come to Homer again with my sister and will stay in Moosetide again. Also we got lucky to spot a teenager moose munching outside of our window :).

A Charming Boutique Gem in Homer Moosetide Hotel is a beautifully renovated boutique property that feels brand new from top to bottom. The location is excellent, the design is thoughtful and full of character, and the owners go above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. We only stayed one night but it was enough to know we’ll be back. Homer is a special destination, and Moosetide makes it even better. Whether you’re there for the fishing, wildlife, or just to soak in the scenery, this is the place to stay. Already planning our return trip and will absolutely be booking here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Homer area.

We had such a lovely stay at this charming hotel in a quiet and pleasant area of Homer, with great cafés and good food nearby. The hotel has been beautifully renovated with great taste, love, and attention to detail by a wonderful couple. They made us feel very welcome and gave us excellent recommendations for the most beautiful and worthwhile places to visit in Homer. Hearing their story was truly heartwarming, and it made the stay feel even more special. This is exactly the kind of place you feel happy to support. Cozy, personal, and full of heart.

My wife and I very much enjoyed staying here. The owners Angie and Cheyanne went over and above in helping us to feel like guests in their home. We formed relationships as opposed to a purely transactional situation. Location is ideal with restaurants, bars, bookstores and museums within walking distance. This is an older historical hotel with a lot of history this is being renovated to modern standards by the owners. This hotel follows more than form and function it creates the feeling of tranquility, relaxation and peace.

Our stay at the Moosetide hotel was fabulous. This historic hotel is newly renovated. The owners carefully curated the room decorations. Beds were comfortable and everything worked great. The hotel lobby has coffee, tea and water. The lobby area is comfortable and has several places to sit. The owners are very knowledgeable about Homer and provided us with a concierge experience. Upon arrival we received a list of things to do if you had a day in Homer. We got many recommendations on food and activities. They both made our stay in Homer easy and memorable. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Ours was a last minute two nights reservation and it worked out perfectly! At arrival parking was available and easy. We were upgraded to a better room and given a lot of information about Homer, places to visit, things to do, food joints that are uniquely Homer. The lobby is tasteful and welcoming, the owners/hosts are easy and caring. They make great coffee in the morning. The building is unique as it's old, but it's newly renovated and everything is fresh and new. It's an easy driving and walking distance to a few places to eat and a couple of art galleries. There are great books in the lobby and rooms about Alaska. It's an easy drive with stunning views to the Homer spit. I will totally stay there again and have already recommended it to my friends and coworkers.
