Staff was nice. The hotel could use many repairs to the building itself.

Mold in rooms, rusted shower you name it

We were nervous after reading all the bad reviews. But went ahead and made the reservations due to how close it is to base. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the lobby was immaculate. We will definitely be staying here when we are back in town.

The Hotel was ok! The receptionists were helpful and good people. The actual hotel on the other hand was the disappointing part. As soon as you walk in you smell you small the pool. The smell traveled to the second floor. That lasted our, my co-workers and I, the full five days we were there. Really not much of a breakfast there, just make your own waffles, toast, and cereal. The juices seemed water down. The bags could have been at their end but both the Apple and Orange tasted watered down.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The facility is just old and the carpet should be taken up. The odor from what appears to be previously wet carpet is overwhelming. But I keep coming back here because the staff i so friendly and tey to make any accommodations that I need.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, and while the breakfast selection was small, everything was fresh and enjoyable. There’s not much nearby in terms of restaurants or attractions, but the location felt safe and was a good spot for a relaxing stay.

This property should be banned from Hotels.com list!!! This place not only is not safe, it is an unhealthy environment. Mold smell, broken tiles, no breakfast as advertised. Green pool. Non working A/C units. Bathroom has mold.

I was told the pool was open, but it was so dirty my kid couldn’t swim in it. Very green. Mold in shower, big dip in bed. AC was filthy. Would not recommend

The pool was very green and the pump was not working. The side door had no security-the knob was not there and had wires sticking out of it. There was no hot water in my room!!

Nice place to stay while visiting relatives. Staff at checkin and checkout were very nice. Room smelled extra fresh and clean. Loved there was no carpet. No yucky bedspreads. All the linens were fresh and clean. Would definitely recommend.

The first room I was given greeted me with dead giant flying type roach in the middle of the floor at the entrance of the room. I was then moved to room #227. The room had no TV remote, the dead bold didn't work, and the a/c air smelled like mildew. The front desk gave me a remote, with no battery cover, but it worked. Although I was hot in the room, I turn off the a/c, due to my concern about the quality of the air. There was obvious signs that some work was done around the a/c, because there was drywall repair that had not been painted. I had a sweater that I ironed in the room to take to an event I was attending at Fort Polk, because it was very wrinkled from being in my luggage. In the morning, I removed the sweater from the closet and laid it on the bed to make sure I didn't forget it. I left it in the room when I went down to have breakfast and to put my luggage in the car, because I had too much to carry and I didn't want to wrinkle it. Obviously, I wouldn't put it back in my luggage. When I returned to the room, it was gone. I check the car and my luggage, and it wasn't there either. I asked the mgr to check the camera's and he said he saw me leave without the sweater in hand, but that he didn't see anyone else enter the room. Extremely a bad experience at the Fort Hood La Quinta Inn.

The staff was very helpful. Hotel is dirty. Ac is not on in hallways or turned on in room before u arrive. Toilet needs repair. Room fridge doesn't work. Bathroom is dirty. Furniture is worn out and damaged. Lobby is nicest place in hotel. Very cool and comfortable. This review covers 3 different rooms and yes they were all the same. I stayed there last year for 10 nights and hoped by now it would have gotten better. It seems to have gotten worse.
