This motel is in poor condition. Although repairs have been made where needed, repairs have been done as cheaply as possible. This applies to both the structure and television which required two remotes, both of which were taped together. The room had lots of gnats flying about. The through-the-wall HVAC unit is within a foot of the bed and is noisy and drafty. On a warm evening it sounds as if every room AC in the motel is running and it is a loud and constant backround noise. This is essentially a truck stop motel, so there's people and traffic noise throughout the night. There is a very popular taco truck on the street next door, a Love's Truck Stop across the street, and many more fast food, truck stop, and gas n' go businesses within a block. So, it is a noisy, chaotic, crazy place, but convenient if you need fuel and like fast food and truck stop food. The clerk on duty was very helpful.
