the room was tidy, we had everything we could have wanted, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the bar was fantastic (shout out to the man running it who we had a wonderful chat with, even put music on for us and kept the lines of the pints we were drinking on after close so we could have another drink! what a pub landlord!) i have absolutely no complaints - for the price, it was incredibly good value!

It is a bit of a shambles really. Very old rooms. Our room smelled very musty/ damp. Staff on arrival helpful. Staff when leaving he was more interested on something on his phone. For us it was a poor choice and won't stay again . Didn't have breakfast.

Excellent value for money and what the place lacked in terms of maintenance and upkeep is more than made up for in the range of facilities and friendliness of staff. It’s a huge place to upkeep and would likely swallow £1m to fully renovate and refurbish …so doubtless the owners are hoping for a big lotto win like the rest of us.

You get what you pay for in life, good price for what you get but the air conditioning situation was horrible in the 20 odd degree heat in our room. I would recommend to bring a fan. I would definitely use this hotel again as the swimming pool was great and has a gym and nice outside area aswell as friendly lovely staff.

The hotel is going through updating, the swimming pool was ok, the room was very dated, the bath panel was broken but all we wanted was a bed for 1 night. When we left one if the updated rooms was open and I must say they looked beautiful. When this hotel is finished I'm quite sure it will be of good standard.

Really badly ran hotel. No WiFi, no food on site, no breakfast. Music blasting till early hours of the morning. No 24 hr reception. Just a really really poor hotel I now know why it was so cheap! Will not be returning.

I spent 30 minutes at the hotel before checking out and booking a room elsewhere. The room was dirty, specifically the bathroom where the shower tray had some type of growth around the edges. The sound insulation was so poor we could hear everything going on in the room below us. The bed was incredibly springy and not at all comfortable. When I checked in I was given no information, just a key. I had to ask how to get to the rooms which was in no way self explanatory as there was no signage. I found this hotel by searching online, and looking at the photos it seemed lovely. I made the mistake of not looking at the photos on this app. Their website has AI images. You can see in one of the photos it says Moobyelle Hall, where AI has got the wording wrong, and the other images have their own discrepancies also. Just avoid this hotel is the bottom line. It’s not good at all. I can appreciate time to do renovations, but these rooms were the worst I have ever seen in a hotel. Nothing made it comfortable or clean feeling. Stay elsewhere!

Extremely good value stay. The pool was great, the room size impressive, and the staff consistently helpful and kind, even while juggling multiple roles.Refurbishment and cleaning need more attention. There was no chef in the bar so no hot food available, and breakfast was very basic with limited choice. Plug access near the beds could also be improved.

The converted stables are fit for purpose, but dated. The bathroom windows have been painted shut, cannot open, & no extractor for foul smell or shower steam. This surley is a must for building regulation for comercial properties? The door between bedroom & bathroom very ill fitting. 😕

First room given was very poor and dated, one of the beds was broken, carpet from an 80s show home. We were then moved into a different room, again, it was very dated. A dirty stained carpet, the shower, that was good in 1990, not 2026, and all the electrical checks were out of date by 1 or 2 years. Tried to charge me £10 extra so my son could use the swimming pool. Fortunately we only slept there. The whole place is in need of a major overhall, and maybe think about turning the heating off in the summer. Would i stay again. Not a chance.
