March break stay with the kids and got denied. I am writing to express my extreme frustration regarding my check-in experience. Despite having already paid for my stay through Hotels.com, I was denied check-in because I did not have a credit card.
I have stayed at this location previously and was able to use a $200 debit cash hold for incidentals. However, the front desk was completely unaccommodating and refused to accept this form of payment today. Furthermore, the Hotels.com booking information does not state that a credit card is a mandatory requirement for check-in.
When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told there was no manager on duty to address the situation. As a result, we left the hotel despite having a confirmed and fully paid night stay.
