Perfect birthday at the golden fleece inn.
We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the team were busy and to be expected. We were then attended to within a few minutes. Polite and friendly and shown to our room. It was a building near the pub. Parking was free and able to park outside the pub.
Its all situated in a square,like a market square surrounded by big granite hills.
We were shown to our room, was given a birthday card from the hotel chap which was a nice touch.
The room was surfice and had ensuite.
Outside window had all scafolding( no body working on it whilst there on our stay) just cut out alot of light.
Food & drinks fantastic,good choices on the menu also breakfast.
Great team chefs and bar team. Very nicely laid out restaurant. All very attentive ,polite and good banter.
We were there to visit Portmerian but also explored a few other places too that were on the door step.
The beaches are 10 mins yo 50 min drive we drove along the costal areas and visited the litte villages.
Portmerian is truly spectacular, magical and fairy tale like.
All in all our stay was perfect.
