Pablito house is great and it is an excellent experience to stay in an old castle. The staff is very accommodating and are great people but the all of monemvasia has great people. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a different experience.

The property is right in the castle of Monemvasia, a position to truly enjoy the magic of the place. The view from the balcony was spectacular and, being there in November, very quiet and peaceful (might not be the same in summer). It cannot be reached by car and the narrow streets and stairs require comfortable shoes. So no high heels and no heavy suitcases. The owner is super kind, waiting at the entrance of the castle and coming back at check out to help with the suitcases. Also, she sends a lot of great local recommendations, which were highly appreciated. The property had everything needed for a couple of nights and it is close by restaurants and bars. Surely will be back!

Sunrise views in Monemvasia

Monemvasia is a must see destination. It is beautiful and we were very happy to stay in the castle walls! The people are wonderful, the town is so cute. We recommend the hike around the mountain (go past the lighthouse and follow the red paint). We loved the location of Pablito House. Yes, its a longer walk with your luggage, but once settled, it's quiet but close to many of the sights and cafes. The house is spacious, with the most beautiful veranda. It's older with dated amenities, which is part of the charm. The outside balcony is exposed to the main walkway with periodic passerby's but it was not a concern of ours.

Καλή επικοινωνία με την οικοδεσπότη. Το δωμάτιο είναι στο κεντρικό καλντερίμι στο τέλος του και είναι ήσυχο. Είναι του 11ου αιώνα σαν μικρό tol. Αν ήμουνα σε ύψος πάνω από 1.90 μάλλον θα είχα θέμα γτ θα έπρεπε να σκύβω αρκσυα συχνά. Είναι δροσερό και διαθέτει μια βεράντα που βλέπει θάλασσα. Είχε μικρή κουζίνα και ψυγείο. Αν έχεις πολλές βαλίτσες υπάρχουν αχθοφόροι στην είσοδο του κάστρου για να σου τα μεταφέρουν.

Υπέροχο μέρος, το ξενοδοχείο ηταν σε πολυ καλή τοποθεσία και εύκολα προσβάσιμη. Η junior suite ηταν ευρύχωρη και είχε υπέροχη θέα απο το μπαλκόνι. Θα το επέλεγα και πάλι.

A bit outdated but very convenient as it is inside the castle, has a magnificent view (which can be apréciales from the balcony) and has a small kitchen. It is not a hotel room, it is a small stone house. Nice and warm room, kitchen and bathroom need some refurbishing (specially the shower).

Beautiful hotel, breathtaking views

We were greeted by Stephanie who was so welcoming and showed us to our room. The room itself was clean, and the pictures of it that we had seen prior to the trip do not do it justice. It is a beautiful hotel and the views from the balcony are breathtaking. Very easy to get to as well, air conditioner worked perfectly, and there was bottled water, coffee, tea and some crackers in the room available for us to use. Would definitely recommend!

Fairy tale stay

Experience staying inside the castle with stone wall low caulking rooms. Location is perfect. Quiet and the view is incredible. The room is clean. The bathroom is dated. Everything you need in the kitchen. The ceilings are low you must get used to duck. A/c works perfectly. The people taking care of the place Stephanie and Fotini are super nice and available. Would stay again. Needs more mirrors.

Historic and Unique

Absolutely charming! Kostas met us to show us the room and we followed him up the stone steps and cobbled ways, enormous ocean views to our right; tiny, intriguing alleyways, doors, churches to our left and came to Pablito House. "Stay here while I prepare the special lights", he said. We cooled our heels, then he called, "OK; come in now!" Wow! We entered through a tiny door at the bottom, then a second door through the mudroom. A small kitchen with stove, fridge, glassware, plates, towels and coffee service led to 6 or 7 steps up to the main rooms: a large outside balcony, with a table and two chairs; a sitting room; the king sized bed in the center; another sitting area beyond and the modern bathroom past that. We were thrilled! The town is fun to explore and a delight to know you do not have to drive away when the sun goes down.

Lovely stay,

Could not get over how many stores, hotels, and restaurants were in the castle. Also, so very much walking, but it was a lovely three days in the castle. .Was so glad we did not take much luggage and had rubber soled shoes, as there was a who lot of walking. The hotel had a great bed, we enjoyed the balcony so very much. Sitting there looking out to the Sea, what a fantastic view. I am a cat lover, so enjoy all the many cats, even feeding some. Kostas, the owner of the hotel, and Paniyota, were so very kind to us. Down the street from the hotel, close to the entrance, on the right, is a small lovely shop -- εδωδιμοπωλαίο -- Fotini is the owner. There you can check in to the hotel or call Kostas for assistance

Great Place

a perfect place to stay for 1 or 2 nights and to explore the old town of Monemvasia. The owner is very friendly and helpful, he even carried our bags. The view from the balcony is breathtaking.

La stanza di questo albergo diffuso a Monemvasia era molto suggestiva sia per gli arredi che per la sua posizione con affaccio sul mare. Personale assai disponibile. Per chi vuole c'è anche un piccolo angolo attrezzato per prepararsi un pasto
