Worst hotel we ever been to ever
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent stay at the Oyo Hotel in Hastings, booked under itinerary number 72064306829366. I am extremely disappointed with the condition of the hotel and the service provided, and I believe it reflects poorly on Hotels.com to represent such a property.
Here are the key issues we experienced during our stay:
1. Non-functioning Shower: The shower did not work properly, making it extremely difficult to maintain basic hygiene during our stay.
2. No Ventilation in the Bathroom: The extractor fan in the bathroom was broken, and there was no window or other form of ventilation. For a family of three, this was particularly unhygienic and uncomfortable.
3. Misleading Breakfast Information: A major reason for booking this hotel was the promise of included breakfast. However, we were told that we needed to schedule breakfast appointments in advance. This made it impossible to enjoy breakfast without rearranging our entire day to suit the hotel’s schedule. As a result, we were unable to have breakfast at all.
4. All the sewage water from the building went down on the side of our room and we had to endure the smell every time. Because the room had no air conditioning and no ventilation for the bathroom so we had no choice but to open the windows.
5. Lack of Basic Amenities: The room lacked basic features such as a fridge and a telephone. Any time we needed assistance, we had to physically walk down the stairs to speak to recep
