The staff were very pleasant and the linens were scrupulously clean. Free parking, decent location and wifi that was working, if not terribly fast.
Otherwise, really there is not much else that I can say that is positive about this particular accommodation.
The rooms are functional and that is about it.
The whole building is a little tired and on the shabby side - and we are not talking shabby chic. Chipped furniture, holes in walls and doors, scuff marks abound.
Dark, slightly dingy and not terribly well appointed. Basic amenities, but well-stocked tea tray. If you were hoping for a refrigerator, you would be sorely disappointed and these rooms really need that addition.
If breakfast had not been included in the room rate, I certainly wouldn't have chosen to pay for it.
This place needs a bit of an overhaul - or at the very least a really thorough deep cleaning.
If you are staying one night and really need to be in this area then... .
