Absolutely unacceptable experience and very poor management.
We paid over €3,400 for four people, two rooms, for one full week (Sunday to Sunday). For that price, we expected basic hospitality and professionalism — which we clearly did not receive.
We arrived at the hotel at 5:00 AM after an overnight journey. Prior to arrival, we had sent several emails and made phone calls to ask about early check-in. We never received any response.
Upon arrival, we politely asked again for an early check-in and even offered to pay extra. The staff simply said they would “try to find a room”, without any follow-up or solution.
During this time, multiple families were checking out of the hotel between 5:00 AM and 11:00 AM, which means that rooms were becoming available and at least one of our two rooms could have been cleaned and temporarily assigned to us. This was never even attempted.
Instead, we were forced to wait for hours in a cold corridor, without water, assistance, or empathy, despite having two sick people in our group. We had to insist strongly just to receive two small bottles of water for four people.
To make matters worse, the hotel did have a suite available, but rather than offering it as a temporary solution until our rooms were ready, we were told we could only use it by paying an additional fee. No alternative or goodwill solution was proposed.
