We stayed here twice in the past 12 months, primarily for its affordability and secondly, for its overall cleanliness - both inside the room and the surroundings.
The check-in process takes time because the staff requires all the necessary IDs for all the occupants in the room. This is for added security, but the process is stressful to a certain degree,
The shower stall is no-frills but clean and with good water pressure for both hot & cold taps. All towels are clean, relatively new, but not too fluffy.
We also like that the rooms have a fridge, microwave, and powerful, user-controllable A/C units. The flat TV is an old model, and cable channels are limited.
The double bed is firm, and the linens are clean, but the pillows are just okay. Bring extras with you if you want to snuggle on more pillows.
The location is just off Highway 99, and there are plenty of fast-food joints nearby, although this place has two (2) "vendos" for drinks and quick snacks.
Overall, you'll like the place for its good value, and all you need is a decent place to sleep, shower & reheat your to-go lunch or dinner after your sorties outside.
