This was my second time staying in Terra Linda. I had a good stay there back in July 2024. This time (Oct 2025) the experience was not as good. Although the location is convenient and the price was affordable, the hotel is under new management, and the service and quality have diminished substantially.
Upon my arrival, I found a massive group of ants milling about the room, not just 10 or twenty, but dozens. Also, the WiFi was almost non-existent. The cleaner was sent, and she promptly proceeded to mop up (not sweep) the ants. Unable to fix the WiFI connection issue, we changed rooms. That brought with it another problem -- the loud, piercing, incessant noise from the building's electrical unit. This made it impossible to sleep or rest, which was the purpose of my vacation. Management was unable or unwilling to fix this problem, so I had to move back to the previous room, which was farther away from the noise. I bought insect spray to take care of the ants and other bugs, but it was NOT capable of taking care of the rat that ran around my balcony and defecated all over it. The broken shower head did not make it easy to shower, and although I informed management, nothing was done.
One day, they forgot to clean my room, and although I informed management, nothing was done. The one dinner I had there (baby back ribs) made me sick, sending me to the toilet. They no longer accept credit or debit cards. Clearly, service and quality are not up to par. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
