The hotel is clean, modern, and very comfortable — more American-style than typical European hotels. The rooms and beds are spacious and well-appointed, making for a pleasant and restful stay. It’s also conveniently located, especially for those needing access to the airport. However, the service was seriously lacking. There were long lineups at reception at all times of day, with only one or two staff members trying to manage the entire front desk. My room was missing basic toiletries like soap and conditioner, and to make things worse, the phone in the room didn’t work, so I had to go down in person to request them. After waiting in a long line, the receptionist assured me someone would bring them up. An hour later, nothing. I went back down, skipped the line, and she said they were really busy but would call again. No one ever came. Completely unacceptable for a hotel in this category. The ladies at reception were nice once you got to them but it took too long. Also, the bar took way too long to serve a couple of drinks that we wanted to take to our room.
Check-in and check-out also took far too long due to understaffing. Lastly, while the hotel advertises itself as an “airport hotel,” there is no shuttle. Instead, you have to take a 5-minute train ride followed by a 5-minute walk — not terrible, but still misleading, especially since the train requires a paid ticket and isn’t ideal for travelers with heavy luggage or tight schedules.
