If you are looking for an intimate and cozy lodging experience in Amsterdam, Sebastian's is the perfect choice. This small boutique hotel, nestled in the charming Jordaan neighborhood, offers a quiet and authentic stay amidst a residential area filled with delightful cafés and restaurants.
The location is one of the hotel's greatest assets. Just a 10-minute walk from the vibrant city center and 15 minutes from Centraal Station, Sebastian's provides easy access to major attractions while ensuring peaceful nights away from the noise.
The hotel staff stands out for their friendliness and warmth, contributing to an even more welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast, offered for an additional cost of €17, is an excellent way to start the day, with a delicious spread of croissants, breads, cold cuts, jams, and fresh juices.
I stayed in a room on the third floor which, to my pleasant surprise, featured a small bay window overlooking the canal, where I could watch the boats go by – a quintessentially Amsterdam scene. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom, though compact, was impeccably clean.
In summary, Sebastian's exceeded all my expectations and has undoubtedly become the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Amsterdam. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for charm, comfort, and a prime location.
