We had a 3-night stay booked but ended up checking out after a few hours due to the room setup.
Our room did not have an en-suite bathroom—the bathroom was located outside the room across a shared staircase area. While we were told it was private, the lock did not function properly, which made us uncomfortable.
The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the riad itself is beautiful. There may have just been a mismatch in expectations, as this setup wasn’t clear to us when booking. We were charged for the stay, breakfast, and transport, and payment had to be made in cash, which required an extra trip to withdraw money.
Pros:
- Great location
- Beautiful, traditional riad
- Very kind and helpful staff
Cons:
- Bathroom not attached to the room
- Bathroom lock did not work properly
- Cash payment only
Overall, a lovely riad, but worth confirming room details if you prefer more modern amenities.
