Wasn’t expecting to have to pay a deposit and have the room inspected before I left but they said all hotels in that area were that way. So that was ok but I figured since they were that picky the room it must be nice even though I knew it was a cheaper motel. Glad it was only for one night. As soon as we walked in we saw someone had written over the bed on a ceiling tile the word “rats”! I was sure hoping it was a joke. But they should have painted over it.
I didn’t see any rats thankfully but I got up the next morning and there was a roach crawling on the floor. I’m so glad I was only staying one night.
Because I would have just lost my money and found somewhere else to go .
I didn’t say anything to the lady at the desk when she gave my deposit back because it’s not her fault. She was very kind.
