The hotel is very pretty and the receptionist is a very nice lady, she was very helpful and friendly. However, there were a couple of things that needs improvement:
1. I found hair in one of my shower towel and bathroom floor.
2. After I flushed the toilet the first time, there was no water anymore until the next day. I even checked the valves, to make sure they were opened. Something to take a look at. On the other hand, there was always water at the shower and lavatory, so it wasn’t too bad.
3. For the price of the hotel (about $190 usd) I would expect higher quality shampoo/conditioner/lotion. The conditioner bottle was half already used.
4. Breakfast was included in my reservation but is served at 9:00am. If you’re a tourist I guess that’s fine, but if you’re there for work, there is no way you will be able to wait that late. I asked for a plastic cup so I could at least take some coffee with me, and they didn’t have any.
5.My coworker didn’t make it to the hotel and asked if I could cancel with no penalty, given that the hotel was empty and I was the only guest. The owner refused. If there would have been a nicer way too handle such situation, I would have came back to this hotel in my future trips and give it another chance despite the things I mentioned above. However, since my stay wasn’t the best experience I will not come back. Yes, you gain one night, but lost multiple future ones. Sometimes flexibility does pay more.
