Challenges:
(1) Stairs: Steps are a little steep when you have your hands full, but I understand the construction is necessary.
(2) The door to the room did not close all the way without help. This did make for doors not slamming.
(3) Noise level was higher than I am accustomed to. You could hear trucks passing by. The room did not shake, though. I had earplugs and had no issues.
(4) The toilet kept shifting when we would sit and stand, minor issue.
(5) No hair dryer. I did not bother reading amenities and such.
Impressive features:
(1) The room was practically spotless.
(2) The electronic charging capabilities outnumber my whole house.
(3) The room was spacious.
(4) The microwave and refrigerator were convenient.
(5) The number of available lights made the room so bright. The best lights were the ones that lined the bottom of the bed. When the room was dark, and you needed to use the restroom, the bottom of the bed would light up if you step off the bed. That was my favorite part of the room.
(6) Check-in was easy, and the attendant was friendly.
(7) There were cameras everywhere, giving us the sense of security.
(8) Only one entrance to the parking lot makes for more security.
Neutral:
(1) The bed is extra firm. I could not feel any movement on the bed.
(2) Pillows were shallow and did not hold form too much.
I work for a company that owns hotels, and I am not accustomed to motels. However, I was impressed with the value we received from Paradise Inn.
