I cannot believe this happened to us! I had to take some time to reflect on this day before I wrote my review to make sure I wasn’t being overdramatic, but I still feel very upset about how my vacation went at this place. My husband and I booked the trip for a just a little getaway. We did not get to the property until after 11:00 PM when we entered into the unit, we found a man in our unit fast asleep and we woke him up. We were taken back by the fact that there was a person sleep in a unit that we had reserved. We told the man that we have reserved the unit and he claimed he had reserved the unit. I called the number, but of course it is after hours and we got some auto reply that they did not have anyone at the desk after hours. The voice recording said to leave a message, and the voicemail was going to be monitored for any emergency situation. In my opinion, this is an emergency situation and I should’ve received a phone call back immediately. My husband and I waited an hour in our car for someone to give us a call. It became apparent that no one was going to give us a call. We had to go and find a hotel for the night and pay an outrageous amount of money for that stay.
The next morning at 8am, I called the number again and got the same voicemail message. Someone called me after 9 AM and said that they will be looking into the situation after that. I never received a phone call from anyone all it was was text messages. We had to beg them to change the door code.
